Palafox Associates and Palafox Architecture Group, Inc. participated in the country’s biggest construction, building, and interior design expo — the Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition (WORLDBEX) at the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center.
Ar. Felino A. Palafox, Jr. was one of the distinguished guests at the expo’s opening ceremony. On the second day, Ar. Palafox served as a resource speaker at the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners’ (PIEP’s) Conference with the topic: “Sustainability as a Priority in Transport Infrastructure Innovation.” Several activities were also conducted simultaneously throughout the four-day expo.
At the Architects’ Gallery, we showcased international and local landmark projects in architecture, urban planning, master planning, interior design, engineering, and development advisory. These included projects that have and continue to contribute to community, city, and regional development, such as Wave City Property Development in India; Tzu Chi International School in Malaysia; the Davao City Tourism Master Plan; the Metro Davao Urban Master Plan, Metro Ilocos Master Development Plan, Batangas State University’s Knowledge, Innovation and Science Technology Park; the Master Planning for Rockwell Center and the architecture of its first five towers; the architecture, interior design, and engineering of various college buildings of the University of the Philippines Manila, Los Baños, Cebu, and Mindanao; Panpacific University North; the Campus Master Development Plan of Manila Central University; Tarlac Medical Center; Crown Regency Grand Paradise in Bohol, among others.
We were honored to exhibit our work along with some of the finest local and international construction and design companies, many of which address the country’s needs for smart and innovative solutions, green and sustainable infrastructure, and climate change mitigation, among others. The exhibit was visited by thousands of industry professionals and university students from the Architecture, Design, and Engineering disciplines.
In its 26th year, WORLDBEX continues to be a pillar of the Philippines’ construction and design industry.
