The coastal municipality of Nasugbu covers a total land area of 27,633 hectares. It is among the largest municipalities in the Province of Batangas. Through the years, Nasugbu has become one of tourists’ favorite places to visit during the summer because of its famous beaches and other natural attractions. Its extensive land area, tourist destinations, and potential to become the province’s growth center have created the need to update the Municipality’s 10-year Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance.

In partnership with the Municipality of Nasugbu under the leadership of Mayor Antonio Jose A. Barcelon, we at Palafox Associates will help update the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance and create a six-year Comprehensive Development Plan for Nasugbu. The plans aim to develop the Municipality’s strategic framework, development thrusts, and sectoral analysis and mainstream climate change and disaster risk reduction analysis.
