Palafox Associates is proud to work on the Preparation of the Industrial Locator Map in Metro Iligan Regional Agro-Industrial Center in Linamon, Lanao del Norte — a 77-hectare property owned by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte located in the Municipality of Linamon, Lanao del Norte.

Included among the project’s objectives are to review the Lanao del Norte Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan and the Comprehensive Land Use Plan of the Municipality of Linamon, to recommend the ideal Spatial Structure and Strategy for the Proposed Agro-industrial Site of the Province of Lanao del Norte,  and to identify the needed infrastructure to accommodate growth and utilities demand.

The Industrial Locator Map will cover development guidelines and concerns based on the pillars of sustainability: industrial, agricultural, environmental, economic, infrastructure, social, and institutional. The Industrial Locator Map, having parallel goals, will be in sync with the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan. All other development plans formulated at the local level will be considered in the formulation of the Industrial Locator Map.

With the use of the map, recommendations for short-term (i.e., 3 to 4 years) and long-term (i.e., 5 to 10 years) priority action plans can be undertaken to kick-start the sustainable agro-industrial developments within the province.
