Today marks Palafox Associates' 32nd Anniversary.
Thirty-two years ago, I was told it was not the best year to start a company. 1989 was the year of local coup attempts, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the Tiananmen Square massacre, among many other challenges. Looking back, I am very grateful to see how much Palafox Associates has grown and continues to be resilient in spite of past and present challenges. I would like to give thanks to our Chief Architect and Chief Planner, our Lord Almighty, for all His blessings and numerous opportunities.
I would like to gratefully acknowledge our hard-working multidisciplinary team of professionals — architects, urban planners, designers, engineers, and staffers. We would not have reached our company's milestones without their commitment and loyalty. With our team, we were able to complete more than 1,700 projects in 40 countries, the planning of more than 50 billion square meters of land, and the architectural design of more than 16 million square meters of building floor area.
Thank you to our past and present clients in 40 countries for their trust and confidence in us and for partnering with us to plan progress, design projects, and develop opportunities for others.
I am also grateful for our consultants in the built and natural environment professions and our contractors, suppliers, and partners in the real estate and construction industry for their affirmations and continuing support.
We at Palafox remain committed to our vision, mission, values, principles, and goals toward global excellence. We will continue to be of service to the people and the planet through our professions and strive to create value in every building, place, community, and city that we design. Pro Deo, Patria et Terra — for God, country, and planet Earth!
