Lison Valley is a rural barangay in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. With a total land area of 8,719.86 hectares, it serves as the main agricultural center of the city. It is one of the major contributors to corn production and among the rice granaries of the city. Here, the National Irrigation System also constructed an open-source irrigation system in 2012 with a total land area of 150 hectares. 

As part of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Comprehensive Development Plan project of the City Government of Pagadian in coordination with Palafox Associates, the Palafox team conducted a site visit in Lison Valley last April 21, 2022. Mr. Marlon Canillo of the City Agricultural Office also joined the site visit.

As a component of the agricultural modernization program, crop diversification is also practiced in Lison Valley to include the production of high-value crops such as tomato, banana (Cardaba), and cacao. It is important to note that the plantation areas for these high-value crops are not as vast compared with the growing areas for rice and corn. For livestock and poultry, Lison Valley also shares production for cattle, horse, sheep, goat, chicken, and duck.
