We are pleased to announce the appointment of Emil Pinaroc and Stephen Ralota as Directors of Palafox Architecture Group, Inc.
With several years of experience as architects, they will continue to play a key role in leading and training our architecture and interior design teams and implementing innovation strategies to strengthen Palafox’s standing as among the leading architecture and design firms that shape more livable, resilient, inclusive, and healthy structures and environments.
Emil has been involved in several notable projects since he joined the company nine years ago. He has led multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects that include the Batangas State University: Knowledge, Innovation and Science Technology Park Development, the first PEZA-registered KIST Park in the Philippines; various University of the Philippines Los Baños and Mindanao Projects; Tzu Chi Project Hope in Nepal; Ligtas COVID Centers; Tagum City Stadium; and Christ’s Commission Fellowship in Cagayan De Oro; among others. He recently graduated with a Master of Science in Innovation & Business degree from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He is also a certified Innovation Associate by the Global Innovation Management Institute and a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt practitioner.
Stephen has been instrumental in establishing and strengthening our presence in the Visayas since we formalized our office in Cebu in 2017. Some of Stephen’s project highlights include the Landbank Cebu Corporate Center, UP Cebu College of Communication Art and Design Building, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas - Bacolod Branch, Cebu Court of Appeals and Hall of Justice Building, Redevelopment of the Cebu Archdiocese Divine Mercy Shrine, and Crown Regency Bohol, among others. He studied architecture at the University of San Carlos and has completed the Leadership Development Program and the Project Management course at AIM.
Asked about what they are most excited about in their new roles, Stephen mentioned: “Implementing corporate sustainability by maximizing Palafox’s resources, network, knowledge bank, past experiences, and multi-disciplinary team of professionals.” Emil shared: “Enhancing operations workflow through systems thinking and innovation, building lasting collaborative relationships with our clients and partners by establishing trust and quality of work, and helping younger professionals and aspiring architects and giving them an opportunity to lead and grow.”
