The formulation of the Sta. Cruz Comprehensive Development Plan and Local Development Investment Program drew to a close as the Palafox Team conducted a final presentation of its priority projects, programs, and activities to the Municipal Development Council, led by Mayor Luisito Marty and Engr. Jojo Meredor, and other municipal stakeholders. 

The presentation focused on priority programs and projects that are based on the various workshops conducted, which gathered valuable insights from the Municipality’s stakeholders. The prioritization of projects was determined by their relevance, timeframe, implementing office, beneficiaries, and budget. Among the priority areas for development are the following: Municipal Hall and Plaza, Municipal Public Market and Transport Terminal, Magsaysay Park, Urban Design and Pedestrianization for the Municipality, Sagrada Familia Cave, Sta. Cruz Waterfront Development, and urban design for the entrance marker.

The Comprehensive Development Plan and Local Development Investment Program cover the period of 2021 to 2026. These serve as the action plan for implementing projects that will be beneficial to the Municipality’s future developments.
